Hello, my cursorily follower,
It's our second day in Jodhpur, and we woke and got ready for a long day, so we ate a really good breakfast. We walked to our van, so we had to line up very closely because the drivers in India are really crazy, no kidding! I kept finches when they passed me, as if there were no speed limit in India. We got in the van and drove to Mehrangarh Fort. When we arrived, I felt so hot, maybe worse than Texas! I was so sweaty, I have a lot of respect for Indian people who wear clothes that cover their skin. We walked for almost 15 minutes, and we arrived at the top. The first thing I did was hide in the shade, and we learn that Mehrangarh Fort was built in 1459 by Rao Jodha, the founder, and is famous for its imposing stone walls, ornate palaces, a museum, and views of the city. No kidding! I see only blues in the views, and it's so pretty to look at! I feel like that moment made me forget how cold it was outside, oh well! At least I do have an enjoyable moment of looking at it. Then we looked around the places, and it's only 400 feet above the blue city, and it's one of the largest and best-preserved forts. I saw some queen-carrying where the worker had to carry her, and it's only for the queen. We walked down, I was in a hurry to go back to the van to have an AC, then we hopped in the van, and I realized that India doesn’t have the fancy and powerful AC like in America, oh well, we had to learn and accept it.
We rode to Jaswant Thada, its beautiful white marble memorial building, and we arrived. We walked around for 20 minutes, and we arrived. I had to shrink my eyes because it’s so white to look at, except for people who had blue eyes, who could understand me. Deepesh explained to us some of the history of Jaswant Thada. I learned that it was built in 1899 by Maharaja Sardar Singh to honor his father, and that it is known for its marble lattice work, peaceful gardens, and scenic setting near a small lake. Today, it is known for serving as a royal and popular destination with quiet views for visitors. We stayed there for maybe an hour, then we were ready to get in the van for another trip to visit. We went to Umaid Bhawan Palace, which was the royal family's residence. Then, they changed it and divided it into three: the first one is a museum, the middle is a hotel, and it's very expensive, so we couldn’t stay there, darn it! three in its royal house. So we went to the museum; it's so pretty to look around, and I see lots of swords and portraits of their families.
We went back to the van, I mean AHHIE the AC are my heroes for today, anyway, we went to the clock tower. I mean, it’s so huge that you had to break your neck to look at the top of the clock tower, Deespeh explained to us that one of the most recognizable landmarks in Jodhpur is also standing at the center of bustling Sardar Market. It was built in the late 1800s by Maharaja Sardar Singh. Also, you can reach the top, but we didn’t have the chance; we were so tired of climbing. My legs were so exhausted from all the walking, and the hot weather drained my energy. Then we wanted to went to shopping so Desspeh took us to famous place of shopping that called Sadar market, we went there and tour for the short because it’s don’t have what we wanted so we walked more of shops, I mean that place are famous of crowd of cars, Turk, motoratalye, and people so we had to go close and walked together. Once I blink my eyes, then those in front of me will be far ahead of me, and the end of the line will be people walking past me, so I had to walk fast to reach my group.
We were so tired, so we took a break at our hotel and got a lot of rest. At the same time, we took the opportunity to cool down in our room. We stayed chill for a while until 6pm, then we walked to Tooji Ka Jhaira Stepwell that was made by 1740s that for the gist to queen its well-known of visitors to take lot of photograph spot, we went to more of shoping because od some of us wanted to get something when we fisined we want to stop by at coffee place and I got Nutella shake, its so good then we walked to our hotel then ate the dinner. We felt so tired that we went to bed early and prepared to get up early this morning.
Good Night and Stay Updated!
