Hi everybody!

On a very simple day, we all woke up and gathered in the living room to eat our breakfast. The breakfast was good and nothing special. Most of us ate toast with butter and honey or jam. It was only 10am, and we had until 11am before our guide arrived at our hotel. We all went back to our rooms to pack for our flight to Delhi tonight! After packing, we all gathered in the living room and chatted or played UNO. When the clock hit 12pm, our guide finally arrived. He was an hour late because the metro schedule is different on Sundays. He decided that we should play a game before leaving. We all agreed to play because it was very simple. Our goal is to answer the questions correctly to get a prize from the guide. He would ask some questions related to the world or India. Most of us answered correctly and expected a prize. When the game ended, the guide said “fake” when we asked about the prize. Haha, very funny joke.

Before we knew it, it was already 1pm. We decided to go to a mall to eat our lunch and meet some deaf people. We arrived at the mall and immediately noticed there wasn’t much food to choose from, so most of us got either a chicken sandwich or pasta. Most of us liked the food and ate it all. We decided that a dessert would make our lunch complete. Most of us got kulfi. It is an Indian type of ice cream on a stick, and it is way more thicker than regular ice cream. It is very delicious! After eating, we met a few deaf people that our guide knew, and they were very quiet and friendly. We didn’t stay and chat for too long before leaving. After the mall, we went to a market to shop at. The market was very crowded that we had to hold on to each other to stay together. Most of us wanted to get bangles and statues. Bangles are a type of bracelet that are very popular in India. We went to get bangles and statues after. We were all satisfied with shopping, so we met up with the guide after splitting up.

We went back to the hotel to get our bus. We quickly loaded all the bags onto the bus so we wouldn’t be late for our flight. We worked so effectively that the teachers were impressed with us. We hopped on the bus and went to the airport. When we arrived at the airport, we said our goodbyes to the guide and checked in our bags. Some of us were hungry, so we explored the airport to find food. We found an area full of food, so we all spread out and got what we wanted. When the clock hit 9pm, it was time to board the plane. We sat in our plane seat and thought about Delhi!
