RAD Pre-Primary & Primary Ballet: These Ballet classes are a gentle introduction to more formal ballet/dance training. These energetic and fun classes encourage poise, balance, coordination, imagination and technique. Musicality is developed through the use of a range of musical styles, sounds and rhythms.
Students are able to undertake a class award or exam if they wish. Pre-Primary/Primary students may attend one class per week but will not be eligible for the full exam. (Once a week students must attend the Saturday class)
Pre-Primary: 5yrs by Jan 1st
(Saturday 9.30 - 10.15am, Exam Class - Thursday 3.45 - 4.30pm)
Primary: 6yrs By Jan 1st
(Saturday 9.30 - 10.30am, Exam Class - Tuesday 4.00 - 4.45pm)

RAD Ballet Grade 1 & Grade 2: Junior School classes are the commencement of more focused classical ballet/dance training. Careful development of technique and artistry are nurtured along with musical awareness and performance quality.
Students may undertake an RAD ballet exam or a class award for Grade 1 or Grade2, if they wish.
All Junior School students must attend both ballet classes per week.
Junior 1 (G1): 7 - 8+ yrs - (Monday 4.00 - 5.00pm & Friday 4.00 - 5.00pm)
Junior 2 (G2): 8 - 9+ yrs - (Monday 4.00 - 5.00pm & Friday 4.00 - 5.00pm)

RAD Ballet Grades 4 & 5: Middle School classes further develop performance quality, artistry, more complex technique and musical awareness.
Students may undertake an RAD ballet exam or a class award for grade 4 or 5 if they wish. All Middle School students must attend both ballet classes per week.
Students participating in exams are required to also attend the Middle Open Class and the Mid Stretch Class which are included in the fee package. Middle 3 students should also attend the Pre-Pointe class.

RAD Intermediate Foundation - Advanced 1 Ballet: Snr students are generally required to attend at least 2 syllabus classes per week plus pointe, with the option to attend more classes if desired. Senior students who wish to only attend once should join the appropriate Open Ballet class or Grade 8. Students who have reached Advanced 1/2 level may attend just for Jazz, Tap &/or Contemporary if they wish, but are encouraged to continue with at least one ballet class.
Dedicated vocational students may be invited to undertake an RAD ballet exam if they wish. Students participating in vocational exams are required to undertake all Classical classes on offer for their level, including the appropriate open technique class.

GBTA Half Day/Aspire Program (By Audition)
Jazz Classes: Are a mix of cardio, technique, corner work and the learning of a dance/routine. Jazz classes encompass a variety of Jazz techniques. Jazz class work and music is fresh and relevant whilst always remaining age appropriate.
Lyrical/Contemporary Classes: Explore both lyrical/modern and contemporary dance technique. The classes incorporate a strong floor work component, technique and performance work.
Tap: Tap classes will include rhythm, performance and tap technique. Barre and Centre combinations taught to rhythmical and modern music.
Musical Theatre: Musical Theatre is a theatrical dance style that includes dance technique and acting to songs from Broadway and Musicals. The class will incorporate both dance, Drama and Singing. These classes are open to students from Middle 1+.
Kicks, Leaps & Turns (KLT): KLT focuses on developing essential dance techniques, including kicks, leaps, and turns. The class includes targeted warm-ups and strength-building exercises to improve flexibility, balance, and coordination. These classes are open to students from Middle 1+.
Stretch Class: There is stretch class on the timetable for Junior, Middle and Senior School students. These classes will work on improving students flexibility and strength for dance. All students from Junior 1+ will have these classes included in their fee package and therefore we strongly recommend students attend these classes.

2 - Enter the password “GBT2025”
3 - Select the classes you wish to enrol in from the timetable display. (Please ensure you have checked against this info pack for the most suitable classes and also for any class requirements.) This process must be completed separately for each dancer being enrolled.
4 - Once you have finished adding classes for your first dancer - select “continue with enrolment”
5 - Enter your details (the person who will be responsible for the account)
6 - Enter the student’s details. Please be sure. to include an emergency contact (name and number) that is in addition to the parent/guardian details. Please also ensure you select your photo permission. Click save. If you get a blank screen, go to the purple box and scroll up as far as you can.
7 - Now is the time to add any additional students - or click next
8 - Check all the details are correct and please ensure you read the terms and conditions and select the check box to indicate you have done so. If you get a blank screen, go to the purple box and scroll up as far as you can.
9 - You will then be prompted to sign up for EziDebit. (Your registration fee of $45.00 will be direct debited from your account)
10 - Congratulations! Your class registration is complete - We will be in contact within a few days to confirm everything*.
