Communicating science is a difficult but important skill. Having students create a podcast as a class is a fun and effective way to help them explore scientific literature and develop essential communication skills. In this session, we will discuss why and how to incorporate a student written and produced podcast into your course. During the session you will practice creating and editing a short audio clip, brainstorm how to incorporate podcasting into your own course, and will leave with a set of instructions that you can use to have your students create their own podcast.
