I want to thank all of you who attended our January meeting and dinner. It was a good turn out and an opportunity to congratulate Noble Roger Weber on his award as Shriner of the year for 2018. Congratulations Roger.

Nobles Weber, Roth, and I attended the Club Officer Installation at El Zaribah on the 19th of January. This also included information for the upcoming year and more importantly, Donuts.

There was a big push for membership which is something that all of us should be concerning ourselves with. Let us all keep in mind that every Master Mason is eligible to be a Shriner if he so desires and that all Shriners should support their respective Blue Lodges. That is where our membership is based. The better our participation in Lodge and setting an example there, the better chance that the non-Shrine member will be impressed enough to ask about becoming a member of El Zaribah and Zane Grey Shrine Club. We must all support both organizations in order to survive. And remember The Shrine is all about the kids.

The next Stated meeting of El Zaribah is on Feb13. We will meet behind Chili’s by 3:30 and car pool there so keep it in mind. Our attendance has fallen off, me included, so let’s start going again.

Zane Grey will meet at Tiny’s on Feb. 20th at 5:00 for the social hour and dinner and the meeting starts at 6:00. Our Divan, Nobel Keith Seplak and his Lady are planning to attend. Menu choices will be Liver and Onions, Roast Pork and Dressing and Beef Taco Salad. Mmmm buddy, that’s livi’n.
