The building to the left is the Trinity Lutheran Church where I was baptized. It was torn down while I was in grade school shortly after they moved to a new building on Center Street.
Just figured out what that is on the table in our backyard on Edgehill, it must have been my 1955 birthday. I got a blue rug with the head of a bear, for taking naps in kindergarten (which would have been starting a few weeks after my birthday). It had a rubberized bottom and you could roll up the rug and tuck it inside the bear's head, there was a snap fastener to hold it in place once you got it inside. Funny thing about those naps is that I could never get to sleep, not once; so they were a real ordeal.

Not me as a pea but it is a cute idea.
A tip of the hat.
