once the tuscaloosa tornado was over, north-eastern alabama would next be hit by a destructive EF4 Tornado. this long tracked wedge tornado first touched down east of Fackler, Alabama and tracked directly through the towns of Stevenson and Bridgeport, which by now was a wedge tornado that traveled up and down through the mountains of Alabama. it then crossed the tennessee river, before finally brushing the town of Haletown and soon dissipating in the mountains.
