once the tornado in Tennessee dissipated, Mississippi tornadoes were still brewing, and one near newton, mississippi was already tracking across forest-covered land, causing EF3 damage. it was a wedge, small, but very much a wedge. it tracked through forests and occasionally reached some buildings, where it got its famed EF3 rating. It was small, and was really only observed by storm chasers, yet was still a fairly damaging tornado.
