STATE BANK OF INDIA - CULTURAL CHANGE

CONTEXT

In 2007 State Bank of India  was a 200,000 employee public sector bank with 1000 branches spread across India. In a  globalizing marketplace of modern commercial and business imperatives, SBI was still operating form a 50 year old value system.

OBJECTIVE

The challenge was to bring wholesale evolution of the entire system – in terms of business or institutional models, evolution of the collective mind of the institution, evolution in cognitive capacities of individuals & teams, and evolution of the institutional vision as a whole.

SOLUTION

One Story created many films for Illumine Consulting's Citizen SBI program, to be showcased across its employee strength, targeted to transform the objective into ideals – such that it results in a new living reality.
