The Studio/Tech 2000 Hospitality

S001 Event Grading and Test Return/Pick Up

S002 Verification for all events

Outside of S001 Coach and Speech Judge check in

Fine Arts Center (Auditorium) Poetry and Prose verification and Extemp Draw

Food:

-Concessions will be sold on Saturday. (Breakfast, snacks, drinks, Pizza, etc.)

-Hospitality will provide breakfast, lunch and dinner to contest staff, judges and coaches on Saturday.

Awards:

-Awards will be announced in the Cafeteria and on Twitter only. We will announce awards after each event has been verified and certified.

-You must pick up your awards and graded materials before you leave the event. Awards and materials will NOT be mailed after the event.

Other Important Info:

-Coaches: please check in outside of S001. You will be asked to help grade or manage events. We will be utilizing text messaging to communicate when and where our needs are during the event. Early check in is available on Friday, 4/12 from 6pm-8pm. You can also use this opportunity to walk the campus with your students to find your event locations. Otherwise, feel free to check in when you arrive to the meet on Saturday. Only one coach from each school needs to check in.

-Substitution forms need to be turned into the Academic Directors upon arrival at the contest to ensure accurate rosters.

-Final results will be posted continuously on the UIL website during the contest.

-If an advancing contestant is unable to attend state, please let me know as soon as possible. I will notify the alternate and the UIL.
