Scripts: Should be sent directly to the judges upon advancing. Please mark them with the date of your contest.

Program Information: Please make sure your program information is updated in the UIL system as I will take all program information from there. If you have any changes, please email or call me immediately.

Admission: Tickets will be sold at the door for $10, cash, check or card. Sorry, no American Express.

Unloading: Schools will unload equipment/scenery at the loading dock door located at the end of the circle driveway at the back of the building. Companies should report to unload scenery and costumes at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled rehearsal time.

A student host will be assigned to your company and will be able to assist your during the entire contest.

Advancing: If you advance to the State OAP meet, go to the following website and be sure to follow all directions. Your paperwork is due no later than noon the day after your Regional contest. Director's Meeting Black Box 1:30pm

Performances will begin at 2:30pm and will run back-to back. Awards will begin around 8:30pm. Critiques will follow awards.

Checklist of Documents Needed at Rehearsal:

  • 1Scripts with cuts marked and cues entered. NOTE: There will be a Script Integrity Reader following the script during each performance of the Contest. (No photo copies unless public domain or with publisher/playwright permission)
  • Standards Compliance Form
  • UIL documentation for additions to the unit set
  • Documentation for Royalties and Right to Cut Script
  • Substitution Form with changes to the Online Enrollment
  • UIL Letter of Script Approval (If not on the Approved List)
  • Documentation provided by UIL on any potential rule infraction
  • Check for $575 Region Fee (Made out to Keller ISD). Do NOT mail! This must be hand delivered to the Contest Manager in person no later than the official rehearsal. MAKE CHECK PAYABLE TO: Keller ISD
  • Music Log (Download the new form from the UIL website), mark clearly any music that is copyrighted.
