On this tour through Europe, your Rick Steves guide will surround you with the must-see sights of Rome followed by a countryside stay in Tuscany, the art and architecture of Renaissance Florence, the romantic canals of Venice, festive Munich, a hike in the majestic Swiss Alps, a hearty taste of Burgundy, the art treasures of Paris — and chances to connect with Europeans like you never thought possible. Join us for the Best of Europe in 14 Days!"
Why Rick Steves Tours?
I never saw myself as a tour person, as an introvert, but Rick's tours take all the stress out of planning details, as well as taking you to some off-the-beaten-path hotels and restaurants that you might overlook on your own.
Everything is planned out from the time the tour begins, so all you need to do is get yourself there. But, if you love to do your own planning, you will have some free time throughout the trip to wander or find the site everyone told you to visit. In addition, you can go early and stay late to add more days and do more of your own planning.
How did I cope, on a bus and sharing meals with a travel group of strangers? Wonderfully! The tour motto is "No Grumps!" and our bus was full of laughter and life, as well as peaceful dozing, when we were thoroughly exhausted. We were a bus family by the end of the trip.

The Tour Bus
Paul, our bus driver, was great fun and let Andrew drive part of the tour. Just kidding. He let him sit in his seat for a picture.
The bus was very comfortable and the views were great. Our guide pointed out all the sites along the way and I got many great pictures out of the window, like the one below in Switzerland.
