If you are a spouse or dependent of a veteran or service member using TEB Post 9/11 G.I. Bill® (CH 33) for the first time, submit the online application (22-1990E) and select ‘start your application without signing in’.
After this is complete, the VA will send a Certificate of Eligibility by mail.
It will take the VA approximately 30 days to mail the Certificate of Eligibility. Once recieved, send contact your school's VA Representive or Guidance Counselor department to clarify their local requirements and next steps.
You may also call the VA at 1-888-GI-BILL-1 to verify completion of the application or ask the VA questions directly.
