Crafton Hills College provides a plethora of student resources located on the main page of the CHC website. There are many resources listed that include links to chat with all departments, bookstore information, CANVAS, Cranuim Café, emergency assistance, free online storage/software/ internet, PRONTO, document scanning, student success, and STARFISH. EXCEL

Web version of Office 365/EXCEL
For those students who want more of a desktop version of EXCEL, SBCCD does provide access to a "virtual desktop" of EXCEL using AppStream. If you have issues with this, you will need to contact the help desk in tech services.
- - Students can access the necessary software by clicking on the appropriate link and entering their student username and password to launch the software. The links for the software currently available are located on the Technology Services Website and under the Student Resources link on the CHC homepage.

If for some reason you cannot log in to your student email or other Crafton Hills resource, contact the SBCCD Technical Assistance Center 24/7 at 1-877-241-1756.

Crafton Hills College Foundation

For any of you struggling to get the things you need educationally or personally, consider reaching out to the CHC Foundation for help. The CHC Foundation does follow set criteria for the assistance you may need so be sure to visit the Foundation's webpage to find out more. The foundation has and continues to help students and their families with emergency assistance funds, and emergency textbook loans. There is an application process in order to request and/or receive the funds you may need.

Tutoring

To help alleviate some of the stresses of learning online, I encourage you to work with your peers as much as possible by utilizing the discussions or using a meeting platform like ZOOM. If you’re not able to work with your peers please take advantage of my office hours and/or utilizing the embedded tutors for our courses Kenny Utrapiromsuk and Krystalyn Layton. You can make appointments with either of them or try one of the center's other excellent tutors during the tutor center’s many options at CHC Tutoring Center outside of class or set up an appointment here.

There is no charge to use the tutoring center. However, you should not think of it as free. Your tuition and taxes help pay for services like tutoring. If you are going to pay for it, you should use it.

MESA

The Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement (MESA) Program provides academic and transfer support to advance the educational success of students majoring in a calculus-based STEM field, especially those from underrepresented and disproportionately impacted backgrounds. Our goal is to increase the number of community college students who successfully transfer to a 4-year institution to complete a STEM degree with the educational and technical skills to become a leader in the STEM workforce.

Health and Wellness Center

Consider a Virtual Visit

Health Center virtual visits provide students with a convenient, simple way to make and keep appointments without going into the center. The virtual visit services include online video, chat, and telephone appointments. Students can schedule an appointment with the Health & Wellness Coordinator or Nurse Practitioner
