Our primary source of gathering information was a survey we wrote and published on Qualtrics. We uploaded a link along with a poster with a QR code to the CCGA student app and the D2L homepage (online learning apparatus). The link and QR code both connected directly to our survey for ease of access. We had 25 participants - who were all above the age of 18 - partake in our survey.

Demographics

We had a diverse group of participants including Native American, Asian, African American, Caucasian and those who identified as another race than the choices provided.

The participants' ages varied from 18 to 44 years of age.

Out of our 25 participants 17 claimed they were single, 4 claimed they were married, 1 claimed they were divorced, and 1 claimed to be in a domestic partnership.

There were 17 female participants, 5 male participants, and 1 participant of a different identity.

Our secondary sources include all four of our background research topics on the different aspects of racial discrimination. We have thorough background research - attached on our INTRODUCTION page - on racial discrimination in medicine, education, social media, and the workplace. We collected this research through reviewing multiple scholarly/peer-reviewed articles and research reports regarding our topics for previous personal projects this semester.
