My wife Acadia, and I moved down to Georgia from Rhode Island at the end of 2018. We met Junior year of high school after she transferred to my school. We started dating shortly after, and the rest, as they say, is history. We both work at Osprey Cove in St. Marys; she as the accountant, social media director, marketing director, and administrative assistant; and I as Tiki Hut supervisor. We have grown to love it here, and are planning on sticking around for a bit longer.
We get to enjoy our lives down here with all of our pets. As anyone with pets will tell you, they are our family. We have a beagle named Cooper, a Bengal cat named Charlie, a Tabby cat named Autumn, a bearded dragon named Ashton, and a beta fish named Phin. We love them so much, and wouldn't want our lives any other way.
I'm a bartender now, but I have always been very much into music. All throughout school, I was in band and chorus. I was in the marching band on the drumline and played snare drum and tenors (Drumline Captain my Senior year), jazz band on drum set, and chorus as a baritone (both singing, and helping teach the younger classes). I was a part of a few Fife and Drum corps up north as well. I played snare and bass drum. I dabbled in piano, guitar, and saxophone. I was dead set on becoming a music teacher, but sometimes life doesn't always work out the way you plan it.
I have since rediscovered a passion of mine for engineering and architecture. I always loved playing with Lego as a kid, and actually brought my whole collection down here with me. I have always been really into math and physics, and that's why, earlier this semester, I changed my major to Engineering. I am very excited for the road ahead, and hope that it is fulfilling as I know it is going to be.
