Floral Design

What do we do in this class?

In the Floral Design class we will learn about the Principles and Elements of artistic design; as well as how to create a variety of designs.  Some examples of what students have learned how to make are a homecoming corsage, a symmetrical triangle arrangement, a centerpiece arrangement, an asymmetrical triangle arrangement, a boutineer, a wreath, and more. 

With this class being laboratory based, each student will be required to take a lab safety exam. In order to continue in the class, students MUST pass the safety exam. 

Also, by taking this course students will take their Benz School of Floral Design Certification Test. In order for students to continue in the Advanced Floral Design course, they will need to take and pass this certification exam.
