What do we do in this class?
In the Advanced Floral Design class students will run the Treasure Island Florals Flower Shop and will be in charge of running the Flower of the Month Club. This club is subscription based throughout the Vidor ISD and students will be in charge of creating a monthly floral arrangement for our customers. Each of the arrangements are themed to a particular season or holiday. Students will apply the Principles and Elements of artistic design into their arrangements.
With this class being laboratory based, each student will be required to take a lab safety exam. In order to continue in the class, students MUST pass the safety exam.
Also, by taking this course students will take their Benz School of Floral Design Certification Test. In order for students to continue in the Advanced Floral Design course, they will need to take and pass this certification exam.
