AP 2D Art

My goals of this year in AP 2D art is to learn how to create good lighting for pictures and to learn how to properly edit images I have taken.

I am very interested in photography and being able to capture good images of my sfx makeup. DISCLAIMER the image below is fake.

Things I like:

  • sfx makeup
  • taekwondo
  • drawing
  • learning new things
  • creating new exciting things

Things I don't like:

  • editing things for long periods of time
  • google sites

Hobbies and Activities:

I am a second degree black belt at ATA Ignite Martial Arts and I've been training there for about six years now. I also really enjoy art and drawing. I do special effects makeup (sfx), so essentially I find it entertaining to make myself look dead. Special effects also helped me get into D-Tech because my application was a gore version of the D-Tech logo.

Pets:

I have 2 cats, one named Jessica (aka girl cat) and the other Joey (aka fat cat). They are siblings, yet somehow they get along its weird but they are both super nice and fun to play with and cuddle with.

This summer I went to San Diego to see my brother Noah and I also went up to Seattle to see my cousins.

My cousin and I standing by the puget sound.

My siblings and I showing our "amazing art" that we did at Balboa Park.

My family standing and looking at the Seattle space needle.

An interesting message that I saw from the top of the Seattle space needle.

My brothers friends in San Diego holding up their legs so one of them could pick up the dice they dropped. It was an interesting moment to say the least.

Len Burge is an artist I really like because he works with a lot of different materials and is amazing at sculpting and special effects art. He is very expierience and was a "Senior Dimensional Designer at “Walt Disney Imagineering”. Create and oversee working (full scale) prototypes for Animal Kingdoms “Avatar” land. R&D casting resins and casting compounds for 10 year outdoor longevity and create architectural models for new constructions within the parks. Point up sculpting on large scale CNC machined foam applications for theme parks." He also helped work on movies like “Edward Scissorhands” “Predator 2” “Terminator 2” “Batman 2” “Jurassic Park” and “The Island of Dr. Moreau”. He also works on "sculpting scaled models from wax and clay to be scanned and produced with CNC full scale in foam for point up and final fiberglass molding and finishing. Most notably the “Technical Academy Award” winning mechanical horse created for Tom Cruise’s “The Last Samurai” and since featured in dozens of films like 'The Revenant'. His work is on his website lenburge.com. I have also worked once with Len on the short film shoot "Super Dead" (which I don't believe is out yet). Here is some of his work below.

Music Artists I like:

  • Halsey
  • Twenty One Pilots
  • EDEN
  • Alec Benjamin
  • Avicii
  • Dean Lewis
  • AJR
  • Troye Sivan
  • Imagine Dragons
  • Linkin Park

Some of my favorite films are Hacksaw Ridge and McFarland USA. They were both amazing films and Hacksaw Ridge had so many spectacular special effects.

Some TV shows that I really like are Scrubs and Bones. Scrubs has always just been a funny quirky show for me that I enjoy watching. Bones was a show I watched with my older brother growing up so its not only a good show but its also one of the first things that pops into my brain when I think of my brother and its super nice and comforting to think about when he was home all the time and we would watch that show on the couch.
