Statistical Inferences
All models are wrong but some are useful. -George E. P. Box
In this section, we delve into a bit of background on statistical inferences. In doing so, we use data from an invasive species of catfish in the James River basin as a example to define statistical inferences and explore two general ways in which we can gain inferences by contrasting Frequentist and Bayesian approaches.
