TIP and MCS

Have you heard of TIP or MCS? Think you're eligible? Read below to find out.

T.I.P.

TIP is the abbreviation for the Tuition Incentive Program. This is a state based program that helps low-income students pay for college. A student is eligible for TIP if they have or were on Medicaid for 24 months out of a 36 month period. If you think you are eligible please come see Miss Nicholson or call 1-888-447-2687.

If you are eligble for TIP, your next step is to set up your account. To set up your account go to:

At this website, you will have to create a profile. This will be your username and password to your application. Once you have created your profile, you will be able to complete your TIP Application.

M.C.S.

MCS stands for the Michigan Competitive Scholarship. This is a state-based scholarship available to students based on their SAT/ACT score. If a student scores at least a 1200 on the SAT or a 23 on the ACT, they are eligible for this scholarship.
