Local scholarships are made available throughout the year. Check your email for updates on those.

Miss Nicholson will have scholarships available posted outside of her office door. Check there regularly for featured scholarships.

• Start your scholarship search early - it is never too early to look for scholarships
• Don't be afraid of scholarships with essays! Many other students will not complete the application due to the essay which lowers your competition.
• Need help with an essay?
  • Ask Mrs. VanConant or an English teacher!!
• Check out the website for the college(s) you are looking at attending. Those scholarships are specifically for their students only which reduces outside competition.
• Proof read and make the necessary changes
• Be yourself! Show the scholarship committee who you are and why you deserve the scholarship.
• Remember the deadlines and plan ahead!
