Marksmanship teaches cadets the sport of 3-position air rifle in accordance with the national standard provided by the civilian marksmanship program (CMP) !

SECNAV Postal Scores:
The team shoots in 3 positions: Prone, Standing, and Kneeling. Competitions can be either Shoulder-to-Shoulder, where cadets shoot next to other teams, or postals where cadets compete at their own range and send their scores in.
Marksmanship athletes don't have a type. Anyone can be a great marksman and it is a great opportunity to get involved with the unit, make friends, and earn ribbons and medals. If you would like to learn more about the marksmanship team please contact the team's commander.
