Dear Parents/Guardians,
Our school’s comprehensive developmental school counseling program provides support for our students in several ways. Myself and Ms. Nicole Levitt and will work with your students: in the classroom setting, in small groups, as well as for individual sessions. We are so excited to be able to work with you all this school year! Also, Green Run has a Military Family Life Counselor, Ms. Gerraway, to work with our military-connected students and their families.
As we continue to work with you in supporting students’ social and emotional development and maintaining a learning environment that is safe and healthy for all students, we are continuing All About the Be’s at Green Run Elementary. All About the Be’s is a school-wide initiative to teach and positively reinforce behavior. This school-wide behavior support initiative provides direction for students on how they can Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Ready, and Be Supportive throughout the school day and throughout the school building.
In VBCPS, we believe in every student every day—with your support, we will continue the mission of nurturing your students’ growth as learners, workers, and leaders!
