Course Registration Information & Timeline 2025-2026

Upcoming important dates for Pre-Registration:

• November 24, 2025: Course Registration video shown in all classes. The video shows how to navigate the course registration website, the registration process, important steps to choose courses, and graduation requirements. This same video will be sent out to all Cox families and shared with middle school counselors.

• November 24th - when your class is registering (see schedules below): Pre-select your courses based on recommendations/conversations with your teachers and parents. You should be prepared to select your courses based on the above and conversations with your teachers and parents.

• December 9th-January 16th: Students in Term 1 English classes will begin having one-on-one meetings with counselors to choose courses for the 2026-2027 school year. Schedules are posted in the next section. Please be prepared when your class is scheduled to register!

• February 2026: Students in Term 2 and yearlong English classes will begin having one-on-one meetings with counselors to choose courses for the 2026-2027 school year. Schedules are posted in the next section. Please be prepared when your class is scheduled to register!

• Rising 9th Grade ONLY:  Attend Rising 9th Grade night on Thursday, January 8th at 6:00pm at Cox High School. This will be a night to go over course registration questions for rising 9th graders, talk with 9th grade teachers, and discover what Cox High School has to offer with clubs and sports teams!

• March 2026: Parents and students will be able to view their course selections in the Parent and StudentVUE apps. Additionally, Course Verification Sheets will be sent home for review. Upon receiving those, you may indicate any changes you would like to make and send back with a parent signature.

PLEASE CHOOSE YOUR COURSES WISELY! NO SCHEDULE CHANGES WILL BE MADE AFTER AUGUST 1, 2026.
