VBGCQ Programs

Our VBGCQ Programs are available ONLY to students and families with students enrolled with VBGCQ.

Sky Farm LIC (SFLIC) is a 1 acre rooftop farm and educational program of the Variety Boys and Girls Club of Queens (VBGCQ), located in Long Island City.

Our VBGCQ programming focuses on providing farm fresh produce to our families and unique and meaningful educational and recreational farm experiences for the students of VBGCQ. 

What We Offer

• Produce Distribution weekly on Mondays [LOCATION TBD] [May-November]

• Spring and Fall After School programs including farming, arts and crafts activities, and games [May/June, August-November]

• Summer Camp programs including farming, cooking, composting, arts and crafts activities, and more! [July-August]

How To Request

Students attend farm programming as organized and scheduled between Site Directors and our Farm Manager. 

If you would like to specifically request for your child to attend farm programming, please reach out to your VBGCQ program's Site Director!
