What We Offer
Sky Farm LIC hosts farm tours for high school classes, college classes, internships, organizations, and other high school, undergraduate, and graduate students in clubs or classes which relate to agricultural work. Each experience is tailored to the specific programming of the group. Farm Educators provide the following for each farm experience:
-Farm Tour
-Farm Produce Refreshments (if the season allows)
-Activity or Lesson (tailored to group's targeted learning goals)
Not all farm tour requests will be approved. Requests may be denied if Farm Educators feel the program is not suited to our farm space, the group is too large, the program is not compatible with our facilities, the schedule conflicts with other farm events, etc. Groups must bring their own program supplies for their farm experience unless otherwise specified by Farm Educators.
Farm experiences that are accepted are scheduled on a first come first serve basis.
