Account Settings

On the Account Settings screen, you will find information on your email verification, referral code, resetting your password, receiving your referral bonus, and deactivating your account. 

Email Verification: Before you can begin using your Varcity Basic or Pro demo account, your email will need to be verified. You can check to see if yours is verified here in your settings. If your email has not been verified, you can complete the verification process from this screen. 

Password Settings: Reset your password. 

Referral Code: View your unique referral code that you can share with your friends, family, and followers!

Receiving your referral bonus: Eligible referral bonus' are processed via Wise. Please input your email associated with your Wise account. 

Deactivating your account: If you no longer wish to use your Varcity Basic or Pro account, you can deactivate your account through this page. 

Before you can begin using your Varcity Basic or Pro account, you will need to verify your email. You can do this by following the link emailed to following sign up, or you can also verify your email by going to your Account Settings. Once your email is verified you will see this reflected on this page. 

On a Varcity free Basic account, you will automatically be logged out of your Varcity demo trading dashboard every 12 hours and will be required to authenticate your password to log back in. 

When you choose to upgrade your account from Basic to Pro, or downgrade from Pro to Basic you will need to re authenticate your Varcity account by logging back in. 

Varcity Pro accounts will be signed out every Friday at 5pm EST, and authentication will be required weekly.

Passwords can be updated from your trading dashboard by clicking on Account Settings from the hamburger menu in the top right corner of your dashboard. 

Our current version of Varcity (V1.0) has a set leverage of 1:10 for all instruments in our Varcity Pro and Basic paper trading accounts, except for cryptocurrencies which are offered without margin.  The default currency in your trading dashboards is USD.

Virtual Account Size

Varcity Pro accounts have the option to add in virtual funds at any time. The addition of virtual funds into your demo trading account does not affect your VTI rank.  To add virtual funds:

1. Choose Account Settings from the hamburger menu in the top right corner of your trading dashboard

2. Choose the amount you want to add.

3. Click Save Changes button

4. Your additional virtual funds should now be reflected in the dashboard header and in My Portfolio.

For Pro accounts only:

• Varcity Pro subscribers can also reset their Pro accounts at any time.  Resets allow Pro account subscribers to reset their VTI rank back to 40 and account balance back to 100k while keeping all their badges, their Varcity Network Profile, and the their trading journal.  Click on the Reset checkbox in Account Settings then click on Save Changes to reset your account.
