Get good sleep. You need your brain to function! Sleep is important.

Get exercise and fresh air. It helps blood flow to the brain.
Enjoy social time. We all need a balance in life.
Stay alert in class. Follow directions.
Communicate to the teacher if you don't understand something.
Communicate with your parents or counselor if you are struggling.
Do the work that is assigned to the best of your ability.
Come to school! If you are sick, stay home, but attendance counts!
Be willing to get extra help. Stay in for lunch or after school.
