1. State program requirements:

• Minimum attendance required - 2 hours/month

• There is an eligibility requirement for the program.

• Students must show academic progress every three months, per the state.

• There must be weekly communication from us to each student per the state.

2.Open Doors Requirements: 

• Attend each lab weekly for 2.5 hours. 

• If absent student and student's family need to communicate to us. 

• Work on Competencies both at school and at home. 

• Must show academic progress every three months (either through completing a competency or another graduation requirement). 

There are multiple modes of support for any of the Open Doors students to help with being successful in this program. Including: 

1. Staff and Teacher Support: 

Staff provide individualized attention, monitoring student progress and adjusting learning plans accordingly. 

2. Flexible Learning:
   Programs often offer flexible scheduling and learning plans, allowing students to work more at their own pace then a comprehensive high school. 

3. Potential for Dual Enrollment/Partnership Programs:
   Students have the opportunity to simultaneously earn high school credits and pursue Running Start or Cascadia Tech Academy opportunities.
