2017-18

In 2018, Valpo robotics won the National Championship.  Valpo started the season with three scrimmages, where we beat the Alumni twice, but lost to Notre Dame.

Valpo had two tough games to win the national championship. The semifinal was against Purdue- Kokomo in a high scoring game for both sides, but Valpo got some stops in the second half and came out on top 54-33.  The Championship against Notre Dame was close and it came down to the last play with Valpo getting a goal line stop to close out the game 37-34. (See highlights here)

Valpo Robotics also rebuild about half the team to make them lighters and faster. This included all the basics bots in the defense and wide receivers.
