Korey Mertz

Mr. Mertz is a Mechanical Engineering major at Valparaiso University. He is a member of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity where he held positions as Scholarship Chair, Social Chair, House Manager, and Home Improvement Chair. He previously worked as a Hesse Center Tutor during the last two academic years at Valparaiso University. For the past 2 summers he has interned at Advanced Machine and Engineering working in the spindle interface department. There, he has serviced complete drawbar assemblies for CNC machines, worked with SolidWorks programming, and traveled abroad to Germany to train at the Headquarters. His professional interests include manufacturing, sales engineering, and product management.

His responsibilities for this project are to maintain an up-to-date work schedule and plan work sessions for the team while assisting in mechanical design. He will also document all relevant paperwork, create copies of all essential records, and maintain a professionally organized Drive.
