5th Grade

The 5th grade program will be in February.

NOTE: Due to COVID-19, programs in 20/21 will look different. Instead of grade level programs, each class will do a mini performance demonstrating concepts they are learning in music. This will take place in class and will be recorded and emailed to parents to enjoy.

In music students move,speak, sing, dance, play musical games, read notation, and play instruments. Each month new concepts are introduced while reviewing previously learned material.

September- Review, introduce syncopated rhythms, and treble clef staff.

August- Rules and expectations

Have note name races to see how fast they can name the notes of the treble clef staff.
