3rd Grade

The 3rd grade program will be in December.

NOTE: Due to COVID-19, programs in 20/21 will look different. Instead of grade level programs, each class will do a mini performance demonstrating concepts they are learning in music. This will take place in class and will be recorded and emailed to parents to enjoy.

In music students move,speak, sing, dance, play musical games, read notation, and play instruments. Each month new concepts are introduced while reviewing previously learned material.

September- Review, introduce whole notes and rests, crossover pattern on barred instruments, rhythm dictation and composition.

August- Rules and expectations

Encourage your child to create different rhythms they can play along to their favorite songs.
