School lockers are the property of School District 139. At no time does the Vallivue School District relinquish its exclusive control of lockers provided for the convenience of students. School authorities, for any reason, may conduct periodic general inspections of lockers at any time, without notice, without consent, and without a search warrant. The school assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen property, or any personal loss or damage incurred during the use of the lockers. Vallivue Middle School is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.Â
Students are encouraged to:
Students should know their locker combination and not share combinations or lockers at any time
Keep all valuables at home. The school is not responsible for stolen items on campus.
Keep your locker locked at all times. (Modifying any part of the locking mechanism is not allowed. ie. using a pencil to hold lock open)
Realize that your locker may be searched if reasonable suspicion occurs.
Keep lockers free from contraband meaning all substances or materials which students are prohibited from possessing by District policy.
Keep all personal items in lockers or in a secure place.
