Ms. Yardley’s Behavior Policies and Expectations
A good learning experience is built on a cooperative effort between parent, child, and teacher. Our school expectations for conduct and standards for academic growth are high. With your participation in and out of the classroom, we can look forward to a productive, creative, and enjoyable year together!
Listed below are the rules and expected behaviors during the school year. There may be five rules listed, but ultimately Rule #1 is the all encompassing rule that will guide our actions this year (and possible through life). Please review this set of rules and expected behavior with your child. For following the rules, your child will earn various rewards.
RULES/EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Be Respectful. (Treat yourself, students, staff, and others with kindness, respect and tolerance.)
Be Responsible. (Take care of yourself, all classroom items, all supplies, and our school.)
Be Safe. (Always keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself. Follow online safety, too.)
Be Prompt. (Be prepared, listen, and participate during instruction/lessons.)
Be A TEAM! (BE and DO your personal best in effort and attitude.)
