The Hover Camera Solo connects to a computer to operate, and it features button control for autofocus, focus lock, zoom in/out, freeze, rotate, and screenshot. The free downloadable software provides features such as lesson recording, annotation over live camera image, picture-in-picture, as well as schedule and run Zoom meetings. The Hover Camera Solo is compatible with a variety of connection software such as Microsoft Teams, Skype, Google Meet, and others. Four ultra-bright LEDs provide illumination of your subject.
Our department is able to provide at least one document camera per classroom.
The HoverCam uses one single USB to connect to any computer and uses their Flex 11 software for use. The app can be freely downloaded and installed here.
Flex 11 is incredibly capable, offering live annotation over the live image; as well as the ability to take photos and video footage easily. Slow motion and time-lapse videos are great additional features, as is the ability to adjust the image for brightness, exposure and focussing.
