VUSD provides all staff with the essential technology tools needed to support your daily work, including a computer, wired keyboard, and wired mouse. We understand that certain roles or responsibilities may require additional or specialized equipment. If you have a specific technology need:
Start by speaking with your site administrator to discuss your request and determine if it can be supported at the site level.
For needs that go beyond what your site can provide, you’re welcome to reach out to the District Technology Coordinator, who helps support all school sites with equipment requests and recommendations.
We’re here to help you stay equipped, connected, and supported.
What You Should Know:
The Technology Department maintains a general surplus of basic items, including:
Keyboards
Mice
Cables (up to 6 feet)
Common adapters
Availability of other equipment—such as specialized devices or longer cables—depends on several factors, including what we have left over from previous projects, returns from school sites, and any surplus from recent orders. Because of this, inventory can vary.
If there’s something you need, please don’t hesitate to reach out. If we have it available, we’ll do our best to get it to you.
If we don’t have the item or don’t typically carry it, we’ll let you know. At that point, we encourage you to connect with your site administrator or department head to request approval and ordering. Once approved, purchased, and delivered, the Technology Department will be happy to assist with setup and integration.
A great resource for all your district needs, what you can get, and how you can get them would be through our Technology Coordinator. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns regarding VUSD District purchases and more, please contact Jim Wasielewski.
