While the majority of classrooms across the district uses Chromebooks, there are some classrooms as well as students and teachers that require alternate forms of technology. This is where Apple iPads come in. How you get an iPad is determined by class type, department, and administration.
To manage these iPads, the Technology Department uses Mosyle.
Mosyle started as a program for managing iPads in schools. They listened to schools who were frustrated with other tech options, so they decided to make their own program just for managing Apple devices in classrooms. They used what they learned from working with schools and combined it with Apple’s tech tools, creating Mosyle Manager. Mosyle is used in over 20,000 schools to keep track of millions of Apple devices every day—all to help students learn better.
A great resource for all your district iPads needs, what you can get, and how you can get them would be through our Senior Technology Specialist. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns regarding your iPads and more, please contact Jeremy Kelly.
