UWS StudentApp: Your Online Campus

Welcome to your StudentApp

MyDay is your student portal -- or in other words online campus. As well as being an information resource it connects you in real-time to other UWS systems, making it easier for you to keep track of everything you need in one place.

You can access MyDay at https://studentapp.uws.ac.uk/ or download the MyDay app from the Apple App Store or Google Play onto your device.

What does the StudentApp do for you...?

myDay is your digital campus and is there
 to help you with your studies, including:

  • receive announcements from UWS;

  • access your digital student card;

  • view your personalised timetable;

  • access your Outlook email inbox, calendar and task list;

  • link to UWS systems (incl. MyUWS, SSB, Library, The Hub, ITDS, etc.);

  • access your online Microsoft OneDrive account;

  • check and top-up your print credit;

  • find contact details for University staff members.

Setting up your StudentApp

Setting up your StudentApp:

Go to ‘https://studentapp.uws.ac.uk/’, or download the StudentApp from the App Store or Google Play, log in using your Banner ID and Password, and select ‘UWS Student’;

Select a profile, depending on where you study, e.g. ‘Paisley Campus’;



You’re ready to use your “Online Campus”….

Please make sure you upload a valid photograph on Your Student Record (SSB).

Your Student Card

Please note that UWS does not issue physical student cards anymore.

Your ID card is now avaialble in your myDay app.

Please make sure you upload a valid photograph on Self-service-banner.
