Day 1: Orientation and Introduction to TEE
- Tour of the operating rooms, echo reading room and simulation labs
- Review the elective schedule, and goals and objectives
- Review the assigned readings and didactics schedule
- Review of echo machine knobology
- All of the assigned readings will be chapters from the "Practical Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography" David Sidebotham (2nd edition) textbook unless otherwise specified.
