This course covers one full year of Algebra 2/Trigonometry in four weeks. Students will complete this course with an in-depth understanding of algebra and trigonometry in preparation for higher level mathematics.
Students will learn about linear equations, relations and functions, quadratic equations, polynomials, inverse and radical functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, rational functions, trigonometric functions, the unit circle, trigonometric identities, and probability and statistics.
The course is rigorous but contains a wide variety of activities to accommodate learning styles and differences. The class includes group work, individual work time, projects, miniature assessments, lectures, games, and student choice.
