There are two lunch options for students, which families selected during the application process. You can review your selected option by logging into your RC account, opening "Manage Student Forms" and reviewing the Dismissal and Lunch - Enrichment Summer 2026 form.
This option allows your student to be dismissed during the lunch period. Students who are dismissed for Lunch will not be supervised by the RC Summer Program during that time. The student and family acknowledge that the UW Seattle campus is a public space and accepts responsibility for their actions while unsupervised on campus. Students are expected to return to the classroom on time at the end of the lunch period. Repeated late returns may result in disciplinary action or the loss of lunch dismissal privileges.
Students who remain in the program during lunch are under the supervision of the RC Summer Program during lunch time. The RC Summer Program does not provide lunch or snacks, and program staff are unable to supervise students traveling to the cafeteria or other on-campus dining locations. Families of students who remain in the program during lunch are responsible for providing their students with a water bottle and food.
