Evaluation

Our usability testing consisted of two groups(team 16 and team 21) who were asked to complete a series of tasks within our app. Participants were required to successfully chat with the AI bot, search up courses they are interested in using the search bar, look at courses and details such as ratings, difficulty and reviews. They should also be able to add reviews for courses they’ve taken and look, edit, or delete their past reviews. Overall, both teams were able to successfully complete all the tasks and most participants found that the app designs were very intuitive and easy to understand. The minor obstacles that users faced were primarily related to navigation, both teams felt that it was repetitive as many tasks required repeatedly clicking the back button to return to previous pages. Based on the feedback, we implemented a navigation system, where users can directly navigate from one feature to another, ultimately reducing the number of clicks to get around our app.
