Student Experiences

Engineering Italy is a great opportunity to get the experience of a lifetime while living with your peers in the heart of Rome. We want to share with you some of the comments we had from the students of the 2019 program:

• "Being able to see the city and understand portions of its underlying history gave me greater perspective on how a civilization and society develops through the years. Living here for 3 months gave me insight into the cultural differences and similarities. This new experience in general of being away from home has helped me grow a lot as an independent learning to create my path in life. "

• "The aspect of the program that contributed to my learning were: being able to interact directly with professors thanks to the small class size; having more hours in class compared to on campus; the office hours; going on wonderful tours around Rome; receiving plenty of support on independent research projects."

• "In class time where we formed groups and tackled problems together contributed most to my learning. The classes were well structured and the two STEM Professors did a good job of condensing the courses into 5 weeks."
