Students may take college courses through Mendocino College to earn credit toward high school graduation requirements and college units towards their certificate or transfer courses to a four-year college*.

Meet with your counselor to discuss the class and determine if it's a good fit.
Get a Special Admissions Application signed by your counselor. This will also require student and parent signatures before submitting to the college.
Follow the steps to enroll in Mendocino College.
Submit the Special Admissions Application to Mendocino College's Admissions Office for enrollment in the desired class.
Check your MyMendo account to be sure you've been properly enrolled and are aware of course start dates. Also, keep in mind final drop deadlines if the class isn't working out.
Once the course is complete, bring you high school counselor a copy of your unofficial college transcript for credits to be applied to your HS transcript.
