Ukiah High School Graduation Requirments
Ukiah High School has a policy to ensure that all educational programs and related supporting services are available to all persons without regard to ethnic group identification, creed or religion, sex, national origin, physical or mental disabilities. Assistance is available through access programs and support services to help students meet their graduation requirements.
Ukiah High School students must earn a minimum of 230 credits to meet their graduation requirements, and receive their high school diploma. Each student has an opportunity to earn at least 60 credits each school year. Students earn credit by passing their courses. Students can also earn credit through community service, work experience, or athletics.
The Ukiah Unified District Board of Education approved the following requirements for graduation:
230 credits:
40 English credits
30 Social Studies credits:
10 World History credits
10 United States History credits
10 American Institutions (Government & Economics) credits
10 Mathematics credits
10 Algebra credits
20 Science credits:
10 Life Science credits
10 Physical Science credits
20 Physical Education credits
10 Visual or Performing Arts credits, or Foreign Language credits, or 10 Career Technical Education (CTE) credits
90 Elective credits
Credit Recovery
If students need to retake courses to meet graduation requirements or meet A-G Requirements, they should sign up for Cyber High during the school year or attend summer school.
