Why did you choose Chi Omega?
"I chose Chi O because I could tell that the women in this house would allow me to be my most genuine self. This statement has turned out to be more true than I even imagined. This chapter constantly supports me and encourages me to be my best self. They have encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone, allowing me to grow into a person I didn't even know I could be. Chi O helps me achieve this, all at the same time as being my family away from my family, the people I run to when I need a hug, and the friends that celebrate with me when I achieve my dreams. I love this chapter with my whole heart!"

STANDARDS
KATHERINE NIPP
Why did you choose Chi Omega?
I chose Chi O because no one girl fit a category or list. Everyone welcomed, included, and accepted each other which is something I value and looked for as I was going through recruitment. Rather than having our differences divide us, we celebrate them and welcome them with open arms. Chi O is one of the best support systems I could have hoped for going through college.

What is your fave XO memory?
"Some of my favorite memories in Chi O come from watching my sisters become champions on the intramural field or excel in their leadership positions across campus. I love being apart of such a talented group of women!"

TREASURER
HAILEY NELSON
What is your favorite XO memory?
"One is my favorite ChiO memories was hosting a send-off-party for 5 year old Anthony before his Make-A-Wish trip to Disney World. I was community service director at the time, so I had the chance to make the ChiO house look like a scene from Lion King, which was one of his favorite movies. We painted banners, hung streamers, made slime, played games, and ate cookies. The party was really special to his family, and it was so much fun getting to know the people we spent so much time raising money for. It was such a rewarding experience for all of us to be a part of!"

What makes Chi Omega special?
The amazing and true gift about Chi O is its ability to connect such unique individuals together to create a family. I learn something new from my sisters everyday. Whether it's about Erika’s cell research or Lizzie's mechanical engineering projects. My sisters enhance my life so much.
