TOGETHER WE STAND. SILENCE IS ON THE SIDE OF THE OPPRESSOR.

As Chi Omegas, we are constantly asked "to choose thoughtfully that course which occasion and conscience demand". And as an organization of purposeful women, we cannot stay silent on the injustices that black Americans throughout our country's history have endured and continue to endure today. Silence on this issue is a privilege. We encourage our members to condemn acts of hatred, bigotry, and violence. We encourage our Sisters to speak out against acts of racism and educate themselves on the issues at hand. We expect our members to promote inclusion and diversity in all areas of their lives: on their campuses, in their chapters, within their friend groups, and around their kitchen tables.

We are looking internally at our Epsilon Gamma Chapter to find ways to make strides to continue to work at being an ally.
