ASHLEY BARNES, PC 18
"I chose Chi O because I made genuine connections with girls during recruitment here. I remember talking about some pretty random things that made me think ‘wow I could really be myself here and be accepted for me.’ During my time in Chi-O not only have I found acceptance, but I have found people who push me to be better, people who challenge me and encourage me every step of of the way (even when i’m in another country!) Chi O have truly been one of my biggest blessings in life."
ALUM SPOTLIGHT: MADDIE PICKETT, PC 16
Maddie was TU’s Student Association President this past year.
“When I came to TU, the first place I decided to look for opportunities to get involved was within Greek life. I knew I wanted to join a sorority where I wasn’t complacently comfortable, but rather driven by the women around me to become a meaningful part of the campus community. Chi Omega stood out to me because the women in this chapter embodied the woman I wanted to become after my 4 years: confident, leading, compassionate and fearless”
AMANDA ESPY, PC 19
"I chose Chi-O because all of the girls in this sorority made me feel at home from day one. I have made best friends that care, support, love, and encourage me and make life so fun and to do together!"
OLIVA STRANGE, PC 19
"I chose Chi O because from first the moment I walked in the house for recruitment it felt like home. When I passed through the door I saw every single girl look at me with the brightest smiles and I was no longer nervous or scared because I knew I had found the house that would welcome, love, and support me no matter what. Joining Chi O is the best decision I have made in college. It has already helped me so much in my short time and I can't wait to see what else it has in store for me."
MEGAN SMITH, PC 18
"To me, Chi Omega is the definition of true sisterhood. Each girl is unique and has different strengths, and I think that diversity has caused me to grow more in my college years and learn from my sisters. In Chi O, I have met my absolute best friends, girls that encourage me, laugh with me, hug me when the day hasn’t gone my way, and love every single part of me. I feel completely seen in Chi O, and I’ve never felt the need to be someone I’m not to fit in. There’s a space for everyone, and Chi O has helped me become the best version of myself. Chi Omega is a group of women that are extremely smart, the most genuine friends, driven in their goals, and of course, the most fun people I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing! I could not imagine where I would be today without Chi O. Hands down, Chi Omega is the best decision I’ve made in college, and I’m so thankful that this sisterhood is more than just a 4 year organization, but truly a lifetime of friendship and love."
MYA WASHAM, PC 19
"I love Chi O because it is so much more than a group of girls with similar values- we are a family and support system. Chi O has felt like home since the first day I walked in, I immediately felt comfortable and had incredibly meaningful conversations with all of the girls I met. The women I have met in Chi O are some of the most determined, compassionate, and generous I have ever met and they consistently push me and encourage me to better myself in every way."
CARLY SIVILS, PC 18
"Being a member of chi o has completely transformed my life at TU for the better. As an incoming freshman, who knew no one, I was so nervous about finding “my place” on campus. However as soon as I walked into chi o I found a group of girls who genuinely loved and supported each other through thick and thin."
